The City of Pearland has begun offering birding classes.
Did you know that birding has become a popular outdoor activity, enjoyed by approximately 85 million Americans. Brazoria County has more bird species than any other area in North America! The beginning birding class begins Fall 2015 for ages 14 years to adults. In the Beginning Birding Class you’ll learn:
- How to select binoculars and field guides
- How to identify birds using field marks, songs and behavior
- Ways to get more involved
